Full-Day Excursion: Kufri – Fagu – Naldehra

🗓 Tour Itinerary

Morning:
After breakfast, begin your journey with a visit to Jakhu Temple, the highest point in Shimla. Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the temple offers breathtaking bird’s-eye views of Shimla town and the surrounding Himalayan ranges.

Drive towards Fagu:
Continue your scenic drive via the historic Hindustan–Tibet Road, constructed by the British in 1860.
En route, stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Shimla Water Catchment Sanctuary, a protected forest rich in biodiversity and home to rare Himalayan bird species.

Fagu Exploration:
Drive past Kufri and reach Fagu.
Take a short walk to a scenic viewpoint offering:

• 360° views of snow-capped peaks 
• Deep valleys and terraced fields 
• Peaceful Himalayan landscapes 

Enjoy some leisure time here amidst nature.

On the way to Naldehra:
While returning, stop at Craignano Nature Park, a serene colonial-era retreat surrounded by dense deodar forests.

Naldehra Visit:
Proceed to Naldehra, known for its lush meadows and scenic beauty.
Visit the famous Naldehra Golf Course, designed in 1905 by Lord Curzon, who was so enchanted by this place that he named it after his daughter.

Evening (Mall Road Visit):
Return towards Shimla and visit Mall Road.
